This 15-day professional development tour is designed by and for Canadian educators.
Educators, including pre-service educators, that are selected as participants are eligible for a subsidy to partially cover the cost of the tour.
Limited spaces may be available for non-educators who may join the tour but will not be eligible for the educator subsidy. Please contact us to inquire.
The cost of the tour is $7402 per person (CAD, taxes included). For more information on what is included in the price, please visit the Tour Info page.
The tour fee includes return airfare from Winnipeg, ground transportation in a private coach between cities, accommodations in Europe, entrances to sites on the itinerary, breakfast daily, and two group dinners.
Lunches, most dinners, tips for the tour director and tour guide, and insurance for travel/medical/baggage are not included. It is recommended that you budget for additional costs that you may incur for shopping and activities on the free day at the end of the tour.
Qualified educators selected to participate in the tour may be eligible for a partial subsidy to help reduce the cost of the tour. These subsidies are made possible through the generous support of our donors. Administrators and students currently enrolled in a faculty of education (or who will be so enrolled in 2026) can apply for the tour and may also qualify for the subsidy.
Applicants are encouraged to pursue other potential funding options through their school division, Manitoba Social Science Teacher's Association, and other organizations that provide professional development funding. Please see the list below for other potential funding sources.
If you are an educator in the metro Winnipeg area, please review these potential funding options that may be available to you:
Space for non-subsidized applicants is limited and subject to availability. Please contact us to inquire.
